Hi Ann, Gotta know! Did you by any chance vacation on the Outer Banks???? We vacationed there every summer and it's one of my favorite places in the whole world. (We stayed mostly around the 19 mile post in Nagshead.) Please don't ever feel that you have to "resist" posting anything here! No one does! CGB and I go way back and we are pretty comfortable calling each other on stuff, teasing or defending each other as the occasion warrants. You weren't at all offensive!!--I was being --snitty. I'm on a diet and grouchy. But soon I will be skinny and sweet. Though not tonight. It was an English Pub (not Irish) and we ate fish and chips and played some weird board shuffleboard game and drank a lot. We talked a bit about the Baptist Convention and pretty much agreed that it was Biblical---but---what about some historical perspective here????? (BTW, my friend is a Georgia bred peach-and not at all submissive) Ahh--the Ask God thread-that explains a lot! Your note was lovely, and I am delighted to meet you. (And anyway truth is, I was born in Massachusetts, just raised in Va.) penni
