Just a reminder:

I am taking an opinion poll of the threads top picks for oil drillers and will be posting the results this evening. If you haven't already posted your picks please do. The more responses the more valid the poll.

MSB, Lots of good ones- RON, CAM, VRC,EVI, and BJS for openers. As to drillers, I am a contrarian and hold ESV and RDC. At current prices IMO neither ESV nor RDC will have much downside........ In fact RDC's estimates were 'whacked down" to $2.20/share for 1998 and $2.85/share for 1999. Now admittedly often a string of earnings estimate reduction may follow, but for $21.50/share RDC still looks good to me....

Sincerely,

Doug F.
