Yugoslavia-Iran:1-0
UNFAIR!!!The Iranians did not deserve to lose this game. This is the most unfair score of the tournament so far by far. Iran showed they have a very strong team. I was about to declare Yugoslavia Dead On Arrival (Austria has attained that distinction so far among the favourites to advance to 2nd round) but the substitutions really helped them a lot. But I think USA will beat them. The Yugos, until the goal, simply played lifeless and so disorganized. If the Iranians took their game at them from the start they could have won easily. That Azisi(sp?) is very good and the No. 2 from Iran. Other than Mihatovic and the subs who came on Yugoslavia was a shadow of itself...to my surprise. I guess carrying the weight of a suffering nation is just way too much for them. I am expecting to see awesome games against USA and Yugoslavia and Iran. At the moment, I feel USA has a better chance against Yugoslavia than Iran. If US does the unthinkable tomorrow and beats the Germans the situation becomes VERY interesting in this group. Again, I am just heartbroken by Iran's loss. Actually I have a meeting tommorrow with an Iranian client of mine, I 'll bring some Cleenex along.

Why underdogs can't get a break in this World Cup? (Nigeria is NOT an underdog)

Go Calypso boys, the only underdog left standing today.

George

Ego:= The little Argentinean inside each of us.

You know Victor, that has to be one of the BEST definitions ever!

The only thing I would change is, the word "little" as, in this instance, it would be an oximoron......

No question about it, The world Cup definitively brings the best in all of us.

Z.

Victor,

Congrats for the Bulls....eh I mean MJ. He beat Utah by himself again. That guy is just.....there are no words to describe him really.

My sentimental favorites for tomorrow's games are:
USA
Tynisia
Colombia
