I'm beginning to think the same thing. I wish Starr would just keep his big yap shut! What was he thinking giving an hour long interview to Brill in the first place? You should have seen Brill on Fox. He was extremely defensive against Brit Hume's daring to question him. Brill wouldn't acknowledge their thank-you's when Hume and Snow went on to the next subject. On the same show Lucy Ann Goldberg, whom Brill said he took copious notes when they had lunch together, said Brill must have taken the notes in between bites or something because she didn't see him write anything. On and on...

The problem with firing Starr, I'm thinking, is that a new IC might want to replace all of Starr's supporting prosecutorial team and further delay the whole procedure and give Clinton more time to build a defense of apathy. Anyway I do have some sympathy with firing Starr, if nothing else, to shut up all the excuses they, Susan McDougal too, are making about not talking to Starr because he's so biased.
