Brooke...

Thank yew very much! That was just what I wanted to hear. My 350 drive is just about full. To move QP2 there would mean I'd have to dump something. I probably could, but wouldn't want to.

I've noticed that my charting with QP2 is as fast as any of my other programs. It seems to locate the data and paints the screen in a jiffy. One thing I don't like though, the charts are not bright. Not like everything else. They seem like they are "dull" for some reason. I noticed the displays while I was installing the program and the charts there where real sharp and crisp. Mine are dull and sort of dark. Any ideas? Doesn't seem right.

Ken

Hi Ken, Brooke,

Sean can confirm this but your speed with the two drives you list should be only as fast as your slowest drive. What I mean is the 350mb drive is old tech and also it sounds as if it is your lead drive. If so your slave, the 6.4gb is only going as fast as your 350 but capable of going faster with the 350 out of the picture. I can't respond to weather or not your use of both drives will not work ok for QP scans, but I can state that your newest drive is subject to the speed limit set by the older one.

Hope this isn't confusing and is helpful
