If anyone's interested, I've converted the QP2 Function Definition help file to a .pdf file (I hate windows help files, and you have to print a complete page for each little entry). Makes it much easier to browse thru it at your leisure as a contiguous file. The file is about 70k. Should probably get Gary's OK before sending it out, but let me know if you'd like a copy.

Brooke...

It's mysterious about the "dull" charts. All the other software that I run for charts remains sharp and crisp. QP isn't so bad that I can't use it, but I doubt this is the way Gary designed it. I'm open for ideas and I will follow your suggestion and shoot a note to Gary about it.

Now, back to real time. Help me with the entire concept of "Virtual". I downloaded the newest release of QP2 and Virtual last night and ran both files. Since I will eventually want to see everything in WOW and OmniTrader (and others), do I have to create a "virtual" file for everything in the QP download?

If that's so, how and where do I do this? Since I know nothing about the SIC codes (and don't want to know) that doesn't appeal to me. I also don't know what IRL stands for, but understand Industry Groups. I can see the value in having all stocks categorized by IG. How do I do that? I know the manual touches on this, but I want to do it ONCE and have it be right. I may be making more of this than it warrants.

Appreciate the help! TIA Ken
