That's just what the analysts said about Microsoft in Nov 1995. They said Microsoft didn't understand the internet and even if they tried to turn around, it was too late. I remember that nonsense well because I was buying all I could of Microsoft. Microsoft didn't change the course of the supertanker. IE is based on COM technology and grafted on to their operating system. In other words they simply ran over the competition's dingy with their supertanker.
