I personally wouldn't alarm anyone with 'information' I have not verified myself. This also would not be a good medium for verifying any rumour, only to set it ablaze. Sometimes an intended effect in devious hands. Try cnn.com or www.metacrawler.com, (user of altavista with others) otherwise I would try ripping at the roots of your source for potential motivation as well as document.

Not a chance on EP retiring anytime soon (say until CPQ is bigger than IBM). There have been some internal rumors that Ben Rosen may step down as chairman but I don't see that happening either.
