That's a good question.

From what I can tell, the existence of Y2K is not a wildcard. We have a problem. The wildcard is how bad it will be.

With so many problems coming to a head at the same time, I admit I feel a little uneasy, and I have a good deal more money in bullion than in mining stocks right now. When I read the writings of Another, John Kutyn, & others on the "alarmist" side of things I really begin to feel it is important to have some bullion within an arm's reach.

I think this is probably a very personal decision.....

Pls keep the ideas coming,

THC

Bobby and All,

I thought you might be interested in Armstrong's latest on the YEN. He also has a new discussion of the Y2K issue on his Website, pei-intl.com. He sees the YEN continuing to slide until 2002 when he projects a rate of 278 YEN to the Dollar. He suggests that the Y2K problem isn't as bad as the hype would have you believe.

Cheers,
Larry Smith
