Selling for less than the 52 week high makes me believe that House did us a favor.

Anyone complaining? Except for general market weakness, I can't think of many reasons that Nortel won't make a good long term holding. Without this, they may never have reached $38 on fundamentals.

"Nortel sees deal as dilutive in 98 and accretive in 99"

$38 sucks. House couldn't even get the 52 week high. We were above $38 within the last 3-4 months. I think this deal is pretty weak, but I guess if he's running the company into the ground, he'll get out with his big options package.

I hope this spurs the other suitors who may have wanted BAY to step in and offer something more acceptable....
