Well, looks like this perenial loser has been finally been put out of its misery!!!

Also looks like those who bought those Jun 30 and 35 calls will not get their money back after all. This company has played its last losing hand even on NT shareholders.

Sure they can. But shareholders are taxed, as if they sold their old company shares, then bought shares in the new company. Pooling avoids this. They can't pool until 10/1.

Thats why they paid cash for Yurie, a small public acquistion. They can easily do stock deals with private companies like Prominet and Livingston, but not with big publics like BAY or ASND.
