Don't expect much for awhile from Edify...

I'm a Project Manager who's responsibility it was to replace our old IVR. We choose Edify as it provided an easy to learn, very functional front end within which to develop our programs. The system has been working very well for over two years.

We have the OS/2 version of the product as NT was only on the horizon when we initially started looking. Now, because of Year 2000 issues, we won't look at going to NT until after things calm down (which may never happen, but that's another story)...

I'm sure we are in the same boat as many other current and potential users of Edify. We're in a holding pattern and not interested in tackling projects that are not Y2K related.

IMHO, the product Edify offers is one of the best in the market for what it does. Easy to use and maintain. Maybe it doesn't provide the hooks into a lower-level of code BUT I'll suggest that maybe you really don't have to do it. Cost - well, it's not cheap!!

Anyway, I've got a number of shares in the company and I'm hoping that the future is bright.

Good luck to us all!
