The numbers of the analysts who cover CheckPoint have increased to 15 from the last months' number 12. Among them, four ranked CHKPF for strong buy, eight for buy, and only three for hold. Networking company Ascend is expecting good sales in Asia markets in this quarter despite the economic crisis there. If networking sector did not slow down in Asia, CHKPF will be a winner again in this quarter. Actually, as we all knew, sales in Japan made big contributions for CHKPF's numbers in last quarter. You might have heard that Japan's situation in the first quarter was the worst in years. I believe that the billing cycle problems will be solved in this quarter and the newly acquired VPN company will bring revenue numbers to the company. The current prices were only looking for $0.23 per share in this quarter. It is way down from the average estimates $0.35 and far far away from the real number $0.41 in last quarter. CHKPF will return to $30 in this week and go beyond $35 by the end of this month. That's what I would like to see. :-)
