What is your long term (10 year) view on oil? I've been eyeing CPMNY, who's working with Sunco to develop oil shale deposits in Australia. This is a similiar resource to the oil sands in Canada. A research report I've read based its numbers on $30 oil 50 years from now. I suspect they extrapolated farther into the future than they can see, but call me a skeptic. <g> My plan was to wait for a bear market in oil to buy this stock, kind of a dipster approach. It seems to me that Asia will probably kick in again in the next 5 years, and drive oil back up.

Any short-term deflation worries? Dueling devaluations in Asia are the main thing keeping me from commodity plays.

Thinking about AMZN puts. Have I just been listening to blood sucking pests too long or what? <g>
