Re: announcement: IAIC & Comarco Systems Sign Y2K Factory Agreement to Remediate UNISYS COBOL

Sounds like miss-placed hype to me. IAI was supposed to have all of these new CONTRACTS due to CA increasing their sells force since the CA World meeting. I recall hearing about maybe one additional paying contract (a small co. in W. Va) since then. Isn't this Comarco Systems just some small co. in Va. (near IAI) that has agreed to license UNICAST tools rather than an additional paying
contract ?

And, as Mr. Rosenberg said: ''There are literally billions of
lines of code which must be examined and made Year 2000 compliant before the end of 1999. It is not a negotiable deadline; it is not one that can be missed." But there are also an increasingly large number of Y2K companies coming on board as well to fill these orders. So what ? What new clients does IAI have ? ÿ
