LesX-

Nice to see the list again, and a return to fundamentals.

If I can't quickly and succinctly say why I've bought a company, I will not buy it.

I bought ALYA because ALYA has expanding contracts, partnerships with Motorola and Echelon, and provides a more effective and comprehensive way to monitor building systems (initially security and energy systems) through the development of new software platforms that are written to utilize LON networks. ALYA's growth potential is exponential because ALYA's technology is easier to install than existing technologies and can be installed in both new and existing construction. Installed ALYA products save on maintenance and operational costs of the buildings in which these devices and software are installed. Furthermore, ALYA is miles ahead of other smart building system providers so the products they provide are better, modular and have no technically equal competition.

ALYA's products are also needed and timely since security and energy conservation are and will continue to be such major concerns locally and globally.

You forgot one: the recent IPO offering announcement by Echelon.
