Christopher: From watching Adaptec over time, I have concluded that product announcements rarely have much impact on the stock price. I'm as uncomfortable with the price drop, I suppose, as the rest of us investors, but I see it in the broader market context rather than as a reflection on the company. A very unsettling day for the market. Perhaps less so for the dollar cost averaging investors pumping money into mutual funds. With the stronger dollar, US companies may seen some real bargains in Asia. Starowl
