I can't imagine that holding back inventory would do them any good. I thought according to accepted accounting principles, they had to value inventory on the lower of cost or market value. If thats true, holding it back doesn't cut their losses. It just cuts the amount of cash in hand.

If they really wanted to save some money in this market, maybe they need to do some more secondary stock offerings and make less dram. i mean after all as long as stock is worth more than book (significantly more in this case) than it is better than printing money. (g)
