To all:

Some of us are new to the game. The news today was, at best, inconclusive. EDII is in alot of businesses, some of which could take off themselves, despite questionable land purchases. The overall market didn't help either. If you look at the oil & gas sector, maybe this was just part of that dive.

Some of the comments during the day on the thread were smart and at least helped me understand the PR, even the negative ones; some were purely intestinal. I do agree with others that if you think this is not a good company, or you think management is just a group of confidence men, take your money elsewhere. Only time will tell if you were right.

Anyway, I am in this for the forseeable future. Obviously, if the next PR later this week is equally vague, then some re-assessment will be needed, but unless they paid 1/4 of the float for that land, nothing has really changed. As I say, I am new around here and will try to contribute any little bit I can to help us make good investment choices. Thanks to all who have put the DD in for us newbies.

Steve

ATTN EVERBODY,

1. look at what the market did today, that didn't help us out.

2. yes the release needed more info, but here are the basic and what you will soon find out, although when i'm not sure.

Notice that the Texas Real Estate properties were bought with shares and cash, (remember they do have an 18 million dollar line of credit.)

do you all think a bank will give us a line of credit if we didn't know what we were doing with our companies and money.

The big news is that the land we bought is currently producing royalties right now, because of the reasons the company stated they aren't releasing that info right now, on how much, BUT DO YOU THINK WHOEVER OWNED THE LAND WAS DUMB ENOUGH TO GIVE UP MONEY NOW FOR WORTHLESS STOCK LATER.

Lets wake up and smell the coffee. We issued some shares and we now have immediate cash flow. Thats how the game is played, if you have faith in the company, then you know David will take that cash flow and 10x it and buy back shares later. Have faith.

Now, as for the land in Chambers county, well our new 740 acres just happens to be very very very close to the big oil find by Marvin Davis company, All we do now is find a Coop partner to do the drilling and split the revenues with them.

now you say, how do we know there is oil to be gotten, well, maybe there isn't any under the ground their, so that is why we had to pay some cash and some shares for the land and mineral rights. The person that sold us the property wants some money up front.

Now listen up,if you think you know about business, why would EDII want to say how much cash and stock they paid for the hot land in galveston right now, that will give them a lot less negotiating power with the driller or oil company that they coop with to do the drilling.

If the future partner knows the owner of the land has geological reports and will take stock and cash 50-50 split because he knows his chance are very very good that they will hit oil, that looks good.

But if we say we paid all cash, that shows that the owner thinks the property is trash and has bad reports and now the future prospect want a much higher cut with us if he decides to drill, that is how you play the game.

Now think about this one. Marvin can't get over to his land to start his drilling operation, we own the land rights all around him, okay, we start drilling first with our future partner and they start to SH*T, because chances are ?% that will being so close will hit a vein and start to suck out his oil while his sits there watching. Now he is going to pay top price for our land, HELL HE MIGHT EVEN BE THE GUY THAT WE HAVE DRILL FOR US. This marvin guy knows there is oil all over that area now.

Did everyone forget that the land we own is now valued over 10 million dollars, and now with us owning the land right next store, ITS JUST LIKE BOARDWALK AND PARKPLACE.

If this is how David D, planned it, he is one smart motherf**ker and and is going to kick ass and all that sold will be very sorry.

Please post your comments to my opinion.
