Kaptain,
I spent a year with Druss last week. It was surely a trial for one of my sweet and gentle nature. I had decided that no one could be as degenerate,ruthless,sorry,mean-spirited,scummy, and inhuman as Druss appears on this thread - I WAS WRONG. I found him to be uncouth, a chronic whiner, a yankee, and mentally unstable. I am rethinking my account with Boiler Room Discount Brokerage.
It is plain that if the truth is to appear, I will have to tell it.

Kaptain,
Here we go with a TRUTHFUL account of the fishing trip.

I sent the wolf to pick up Druss since he was a yankee. I figured that she was more capable of surviving any well-known yankee treachery since it takes a wooden stake to put her down. When they finally arrived back in Batesville, I became concerned immediately because Druss said, "She seemed like nice person when she met me at the airport gate." Obviously, he has no instincts. Then he started whining about being tied to the fender for the ride home. I explained that this meant she LIKED him -"Druss, if she didn't like you, she would have made you hold the rear bumper and dragged you back to the house." He whined some more and finally asked about what she would have done if she had disliked him. I said, "Druss, did you notice the cross-hairs on the windshield on the drivers side and the 'pedestrian emblems' painted on the driver side door? They are not for decoration."
Then it got weird that night!!

I was trying desperately to make Druss feel somewhat like a normal person the first evening - after that I decided that was a useless endeavor. He was whining from the first moment - things like...
'I thought you were joking about living in a tarpaper shack'...
'Your dog is as disgusting as you said'...
Does the wolf always slobber and foam like that'...
I decided to make the best of it. I offered to plug in one of my favorite tapes('Deliverance' or 'Texas Chainsaw Massacre') while I made him some haggis. He emphatically rejected 'Deliverance' - "Anything but Deliverance since I have met you". In an effort to get along, I plugged in 'Texas Chainsaw Massacre'. I went to get a drink from the kitchen part way through the tape and noticed my neighbor headed towards the house. I stepped into the garage and chatted with him a moment (he needed to borrow my chainsaw). I decided to fire it off since I hadn't started it in a while. It fired off well and I ran up the RPM a couple of times to make sure of reliablity. As I stepped back into the house, the wolf screeched at me, "Don't come back in unless you have a pry bar to get this guy off tha ceiling". Druss doesn't like chainsaws. He seems sensitive to noise.
Later that night, I was roused by a noise outside the shack. I went to investigate. I found Druss streaking around my front yard. He was screeching, "Don't they ever shut up" and laughing maniacally. After a brief discussion with myself about whether I should talk with him or go for a tranquilizer gun, I caught his attention to see if there was something that I could help with. It seems that he needed a flame-thrower,M-16, or a grenade or something to silence a whipperwill and a mockingbird that were having a conversation near his window.
Thank goodness that Nukes are hard to find.
