There's nothing wrong with a "quick" fix for today's problem (Vertex 2000), and a permanent fix for after Y2K (Century Scan 3.0). But, interfacing the two tools doesn't make a lot of sense to me. They seem to be cross purpose. The welcoming committee goes home at 5:00pm. TED

Welcome John. Don't mind TED--he is a good-hearted, technically astute albeit glib, guy. Oh, and, of course, he's a notorious contrary indicator of stock prices. So TED, how about unloading your stock so we can get moving again? Pete
