Hi Mark,

Care to share your thoughts about Y2K?

Regards - Emory

Emory,

I'm not sure that I have any useful insights on Y2k other than to
suggest that the really difficult areas are going to be older
application software, and embedded devices. I suspect that most
PC based products/applications are largely going to be unaffected.
Contract programmers will likely make a killing working on older
applications, but the biggest problems will probably arise
simply because somewhere in the most un-computer-like products
there will be a microcontroller that someone has completely
overlooked !

Mark
