That was great, Tero. I think what compounded Nokia's loss was the BAY-NT deal. I think everyone's guessing they'll overpay for a data networker themselves. Heard speculation on the NT thread that MRVC and CS would be good matches for either NOK.A or ERICY.

You make a number of factual errors in discussing Iridium:

1- it works in buildings, just like regular cell phones. If you're in a building with enough metal to block access to the sat, then you are in an area with cellphone coverage.

2- The average PC pricepoint is still $2,500 and the Iridium phone will not cost $7,500. I doubt it will even cost $3,000.

3- The iridium phone is not meant as a mainstream replacement for the cell phone. Its market is different nad the needs of that market are not fulfilled by any other solution at that price. (Inmarsat is 5 pounds, can't be moved while talking and more expensive per minute.)
