Mr. allen,

I have been accused by Kurt, for one, of being a management cheerleader.
Clearly I cheer that we are re-structuring and re-directing our objectives
toward conventional proof of resources. My characterizations of the quality
of debate on this thread are not meant to be indications that I wish the
debate, or quibbling if I call it that, would cease.

Always have I taken the size of Franklin Lake and the potential for finding
extremely large quantities of precious metals in the playa very seriously.
If it is true, then my preference is that we all behave as if it is; and we
all strive to relay information accurately and clearly while minimizing the
excesses of both praise and criticism.

Kurt also talked about "thread discipline" being maintained at the expense
of discussion. For me this thread should discipline itself to the highest
standards of discourse because it just may turn out that we have what we all
think we do and won't we look silly to historians and others who may investigate
our thread if we lower our standards or prattle on about nothing in one line
postings. (Citydi, of course, is our glorious exception to any one line rule
as her contributions, long or short, always are welcome.)

I've always had the ambition that to those inquisitive people of the future
that this thread will at least make good reading. I thank any poster or
contributor that furthers that objective.

Jerard P
