yep...added more under 20 and now just under 22 (for the record). The only problem is I've used up all of my MRVC ammunition....it better go UP from here! It must be Seth pushing it up! <G>

It has been a while since I dropped in. Today's action appears to be due to talk of cancelling the offering which is seen by most as dillutive.
Apart from the Cabot bubble, MRV couldn't get above a 40 multiple when it had accelerating growth in the +100% range. Brilliant engineering and product development does not by itself help shareholders. Take it from someone very involved for most of the past 4 years.
The DWDM announcement was made to attempt to offset the negative reaction the offering would produce. Didn't work too well . . . and the vagueness of the release didn't help. As a shareholder in Ciena since the IPO, I am conversant with the market and technology; once again, a potentially exciting event was turned into a piss in the wind.
Obviously, if growth rate remains in this range, price will be forced up, as it was at a split-adjusted $2. Those who have been here before know that, once again, it's a good place to buy, unless they get sloppy with their capitalization. There would be little tolerance for an unconvincing acquisition at this point.
