Hi SRO,
My brother used to lecture me on the difference between companies WITH "sponsorship" VS the ones WITHOUT it. He used share volume as one measure of this item. Another was the number of analysts and brokerages that followed the stock actively. He used to say, "Sponsorship will support a Bag of Air - but without it you can't support a bag of gold."

However, IDTI has really had pretty good share volume of late. Maybe IDTI needs a name change to encourage greater sponsorship. After all, how far would Lucent have gone with Western Electric? How about Cogent? Sounds a bit like Lucent and has some meaning, too. Who knows, maybe it would be good for a 100 P/E multiple!!

Best regards, Tom

Sam,

I am happy to see you are committed to our bet, as I am not willing to let you out of it at this time.

However, we can add a big mac or a pizza to it. What do you think??
