That short data on IDTI was interesting, Tom. I've never looked at it in detail before, but it seems to make sense. It's hard to believe many people would sell it short today, or a few weeks ago as the price fell below $10. The shorts must have made quite a bit of money on IDTI, and you'd expect them to take profits by buying the stock back at current prices. Beyond that, today truly illustrates the value of Sponsorship. I wish I'd known Messrs. Greenspan and Rubin had decided to go long on the yen and short on the dollar. That was over a 4% profit in a single day's currency transaction. The yen strengthened from 142.XX to a buck to 136 to a buck, or a 6.4 yen change. 6.4/142 is 4.5% on my calculator. Our domestic exporters should rejoice, but you and I lost purchasing clout to pay for it. How do we arrange for favorable Sponsorship, or do we simply guess which side will be helped?

To list something relevant to this thread, IDTI rose 7/16 today on more than two million shares. If Asia continues upward tonight, our market may again move higher tomorrow. David had better watch out for our Pepsi and Big Mac wager: I'm only a little more than an eight dollar rise in IDTI's stock price from collecting. As soon as Cogent goes on the letterhead, its all over but the dust. The heavy stock activity must have caused our respondents to sit on their hands. There were no inputs after about 11am. Somebody tell me what really went on. My best, Sam

Tom,

Thanks for the chart. I'm managing to hold on to my entire position. Did you take the Pepsi Challenge? One major factor that makes IDTI the favorite horse over Dell is IDTI is much more likely to be acquired at $15.00 or more within the next 6 months. So glad to hear you're betting the farm (pun intended). Where will you take your mule and plow if that happens?

Soooo long,
Jackson
