RE:"266-MHz Pentium MMX processors"

Paul,

Looks like Intel has changed their slot 1 only game plan. Wasn't 200 MHz supposed to be the end of the product line?

Maybe Intel isn't quite as dumb as they make themselves out to be?

Pauleron,
I don't have a problem with Intel selling the high end stuff for the big profit. It's the low end stuff that's gonna drag them down a black hole. I'd love to see Intels stock head for 200.
Word is that AMD has really cranked up production of the K6-2. So much so that the K6-2 will replace the K6. Why hasn't Compaq announced a K6-2 machine? Doesn't really matter since ASAP they will just switch over to the K6-2. Like changing a coat.
