Apple all over again...

This trade is looking very similar to my trading on Apple a few weeks ago. A stock position just below a huge short selling wall. It is just like a war between long and shorts...Infoseek is now sitting / building a base just below a key short level 34 - 34.5.... The shorts position must be huge, and they won't cover too quickly. But at some point maybe at 35-36 there will be a HUGE gap up in price as the shorts run for he door. The key is getting there soon. The main negative against being long is time. The annual stock-holders meeting is Friday when any news would most likely be announced, and also Friday is options expiration (triple / witching time). So the next few days are key for any short term investors/ traders. Good luck to all.

Remember the doubt is what is moving this stock

I have played many many "takeover rumored stocks"...not every day is an up day . Mr Mottro(sp) is a charismatic Guy and I am sure that The Annual Meeting will be an upbeat experience...Just a couple of days to go...I have learned to be very patient since last October ...Each one has to evaluate his own positions ...long or short...

Tom...Here's a link to news from Reuters I just read on MSNBC, dated June 16, entitled.. "Infoseek Shares Up On Takeover Talk"... msnbc.com

The article says Disney couln't be reached for comment, but Time Warner said they have never been in talks with Infoseek...That pretty much dispels the Time Warner speculation...

The article says SEEK has stated they will reveal long-term plans at a later time..(I wonder, does this possibly mean at the shareholders meeting?)

Regards, George
