Well they still have to figure things out in their heads.
When she takes math courses it is mainly pencil and paper.
So she is not at all arithmetically impaired.

Mohan, do you remember interpolating logs and using a slide rule? I still have an 18" wooden Versalog slide rule around.

So Mohan, what you are saying is that you actually had to use your brain and was not encouraged to use a machine....that, should it give you the wrong answer...would still be considered ok!
