Microsoft buying their own stock back?

Hi Mozek,

Today's price action obviously great for MSFT. I didn't follow this
thread yesterday (when the Nasdaq ended down, with most
leaders in the read).

Did you or anyone else notice MSFT was up all day and even
fought off a wicked close to close with a fractional gain when
most other tech leaders were down several points?

My theory is that MSFT may be buying their own stock back,
the calls have also been trading fairly well on the bullish side.

Does anyone have any evidence to corroborate this theory?

>>The PR that came out of that purchase (of hotspot stuff) made it sound like Java would run faster than hand tuned assembly language while it eliminated waste from your kitchen. <<

LOL

It was interesting to see how MSFT came up with a Java engine better than Sun's... that has to make Sun look bad <g>.

FWIW
