Tero talking sense! He's right that Nokia seems to get a lot right - though the Nokia comments reported recently about helping steal Mighty-Q's IPR was dodgy.

How about Qualcomm buys Motorola? There should be some synergy there and Motorola is looking cheap. Nobody is going to be able to buy Qualcomm - the price will go too high at the first hint of interest.

India has only 1% taxpayers or thereabouts. They'll have a really good start when the voters finally figure out that the rest of the world will be good for them if they open their borders. They need no border control, being the poorest country. Just make it open slather. They speak a lot of English, though the nationalistic zealots are trying to play up linguistic xenophobia - still fighting the British half a century late - they have completely abandoned any pretence of Ghandi pacifism with their nukes so maybe soon they will give up fighting the Alamo war when everyone else has gone home.

China is getting a huge amount more foreign investment than India - no wonder it's going ahead in leaps and bounds. India better figure it out soon or even Tibet will be making them look like poor relations.

PS: Northforce, I lived in Ottawa for 3 years 1975 - 1977 and have a Canadian son, Tarken, [who has a namesake in Edmonton = product of Korean guy/Canadian lady who lived in Japan as an exchange student going to school with Tarken]. We don't just sit down here fleecing sheep you know! Like Canada, the USA thinks NZ is just another state - if they even know where it is. We used to ask Americans if they knew where Canada and New Zealand were. Hahahahaha!!! It's safe to just keep head down and be quiet; I think you're right that Canada is seen as part of USA.

Michael [Piturro], I guess Gregg got tired of beating back the darkness so has taken a breather.
