Joe, I can neither prove nor disprove if the rumor is true. But, the fact that AT&T hasn't put out anything on the wire saying "absolutely false, ridiculous, etc. etc." and no one is commenting on it from both sides leads me to believe something came about.

This is similar to ICQ, where rumor became fact. Everyone was mum until the announcement. As for AT&T taking over AOL, that is the LAST thing I would like to see. Doubt it will happen.

Another odor from the rat...

Last week, there were heavy volume on the JUN 90 calls (2-3,000 per day). That alone rang my alarm bell. So I bought a ton of it to override my short position. I am glad I did.

The open interest for JUN90C as of yesterday is 11,409, the volume today is 6,187! I smell another rat, so I am selling half of my JUN90C's.
