pete, so the mkt won't go below 7000? Then i would agree there is no victory fer de bears. Unfortunately bears get crushed in a mania my target bottom is DJIA 3000 -4000 range . that would be a victory .if DJIA does not break 7000 then I will admit that i am the idiot that you may think I am -g-. From a historical perspective it is not unreasonable to expect a major bear 50%/- decline after a major bull. I think even the bulls would agree that this bull has been one of the greatest in history. the debate is how it ends. Can you tell me of a major bull mkt which has not been followed by a major bear? I can't- Tough love fer de bulls ho ho ho Mike

Pete, "who says we're in a bubble" myself and many other astute observers hohoho . Did you see David Dreman in Forbes 5/18/98 p 325 he says "...Even the S&P 500 and the blue-chip stocks are in a financial bubble the likes of which surpasses any I've examined in this century" I'm too lazy to find de link fer u but I'm sure u can find it. I believe Dreman sold his money mgt business to kemper for $$$. Many money mgr veterans have sold out Templeton, Price do they see someting that the gullible public does not see? BTW many of the guys selling out are taking mostly cash? wonder why? -g- Mike
