My guesss is that someone who owns TDFX stock just realized that INTC is unloading the i740 in Asia for below cost prices.

This whole industry sucks.

Frank,
Based on what S3 price did today you could say whatever is in
TDFX and TDDDf pipeline is bad news for S3. Both companies
have new products coming out at the same time S3 releases Savage.
They already have the business at the high end of the market so
it might be difficult for S3 to gain market share. The product that I
hear is pretty awesome in the NVIDIA Riva TNT. This will also
be available when Savage is released.
S3 must quickly cost reduce to get into mainstream because
I do not think they have much of a chance in the high end.
If S3 falls below $4.00 that will be my entry point or wait until
the tech dust settles in mid to late July if I decide to get into S3.
Just sitting on the sidelines for now.

Frank,

I increased my position today at 5 1/2. Shi*, this stock sure builds character...or is that it tests character?

Onward,

George

I would agree with you if SIII had gone up proportionately. In other words, if I knew ABC was going to go down and XYZ was going to go up and I held stock in ABC, I would sell ABC and would buy XYC. Just MHO.
