This is an interesting article....Schmidt To Be Witness In Java Dispute
crn.com

"...Despite Sun's dispute with Microsoft, Novell--which also has enjoyed a fierce rivalry with Microsoft--is trying to remain neutral and Schmidt was not willing to pick in a winner in the Java battle. "The fact of the matter is I think things changed over time," he said. "I would not care to predict the outcome . . . and we at Novell are trying very, very hard to stay out of this."...".

I am also hearing RUMORS pop up again here in Silicon Valley that SUNW may be a merger candidate (from w/i SUNW) again. I do not see it but almost anything can happen in this crazy market.

The stock at it's current price does not reflect any price premium for merger but if the volume begins to pick up significantly then consider a friendly merger as a possible option.
