Even if the presses had to go all day and night and produced triple digit inflation bank depositors will be paid. What happened to prices during the Great Depression? Did they go up or down? I know a big problem was that the banks failed, and many people lost their accounts, so for them it didn't matter what the prices were. Do you thus think that a crash this time might be met with hyperinflation? It's an important question. For example, if real estate plunges (deflation) at the onset of a crash, it would be better to have cash on hand to buy some up. On the other hand, if hyperinflation would occur at the start of a crash, it would be better to buy real estate now, before that happens.

Joey - Midtown Manhattan -- I am there, and this place is Nuts! This city, even though drastically improved by Rudy Giulani, is an accident waiting to happen. There are limited ways in and out. Any crowd can get instantly out of control. Walking down the street Tuesday morning a Homeless Man grabbed a young girl's posterior, under her extremely short shorts. She got away, just before I was going to hit the man with my briefcase. She and I walked down the street and she went into the Fashion District. She should not wear clothes like that, walk out of the NYC Port Authority and not expect to be accosted on 41st and 8th avenues. She could have gotten us killed. Drug busts, fights ect... on that corner are daily. There is the very rich, the working stiffs and the poorest of the poor here. It is not a good mix. :) BellBoy
