Yousef, I remember reading an article about a month ago quoting an AMD spokesman that K6-2 will be priced equivalent to PII...funny how things change so quickly <ggg> Plain and simple, IBM and Cpq are taking AMD to the cleaners...

Yousef,
RE: "Or Jim ... Maybe AMD isn't selling many K6-2's at all and they
have been
forced to lower the price. I find it amusing that 3D and 100mhz
FSB is
only worth $27.00 in "AMD's eyes" ... Whoever sets their prices at AMD should be fired."

You helped me greatly a year ago. Now I will help you. The K6-2 is selling like hotcakes and AMD might just be meeting demand. They could likely supply Gateway, Hewlett Packard and Dell. Hewlett Packard will likely be the next box with the K6 inside. Now that IBM is introducing a box with the K6-2 inside just how long do you think it will take to see one in ACER since ACER is likely making the IBM Box? Or see one in Compaqs line?
Just wait a little the fun is about to begin.
