Jozeph, here is another Eudora defect = when you download a Japanese language email, it automatically converts it to ASCI or something, so you can't read it. You have to get it resent and open it in Netscape's email or Outlook. We never did get to make Eudora Pro 4.0 work via the proxy server. Also, installing Eudora Pro 4.0 on top of Eudora Light seems to leave Eudora Light in charge and Eudora Pro 4.0 won't load. So now I'm the proud owner of Eudora Pro 4.0 but use Eudora Light. Oh well, when it's simpler and easier to use maybe I'll be back on Eudora Pro.

We got it going on one computer after we downloaded it, but that computer is out of commission just now, so tried putting it on this one. I'll need to recommission the other computer. It's a better one anyway.

Meanwhile, Tarken says just go with everything Microsoft that way no conflicts, all will work and be fine.

And you know, Qualcomm doesn't seem very interested in selling infrastructure. Hold some cash out and they might or might not get back to you. So far not get back to you. Motorola and Lucent seem more interested. Maybe that's why infrastructure sales are slow. Haven't tried the Koreans yet, but I bet they are cheaper with their currency crashes.

Soon I'll get my QCP-820 replacement going - the shop was unable to reconnect me - no information in the manual or anywhere on how to connect the phone. So I'm sticking with my old Nokia with a rubber band holding the battery on until I get around to figuring out how to get connected with the QCP-820.

Well, that's life in the fast lane today...
