PLFM to Beat Competition to Market with "The Dolphin" -- Ultra-light,
Cost-efficient Unmanned Combat Air Vehicle -UCAV-

Business Editors

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--June 18, 1998--Howard
A. Foote, President & CEO of Platforms International Corporation
("OTC BB: PLFM") announced the official introduction of "The
Dolphin" Unmanned Combat Air Vehicle (UCAV). "The Dolphin, which
can be viewed on our web site under PLFM's Defense Division,
represents our official entry into the thriving market of unmanned
combat drones -- the cost-efficient, strategic weapon of choice for
the 21st century," stated Foote.
The Dolphin UCAV is a pilotless technology extension and
military application of the Stemma-15, PLFM's Unmanned Air Vehicle
Airborne Relay Communications System (ARC), a commercial turnkey
product currently being marketed by the company as the most advanced
and cost-effective wireless communication system on the market
today. Like the ARC System, the Dolphin is a turnkey product,
including a stationary or transportable command-and-control base of
operations.
"The key advantage of drones," stated Foote, "is their
no-risk-to-pilot factor. In the absence of human limitations, jet
fighters can perform amazing maneuvers. The Dolphin's 20-G turn
capabilities enable it to outperform any manned military air vehicle
in service today. It is equipped with state-of-the art, 21st century
high-energy weaponry and costs a fraction of current manned
vehicles."
David Fawcett, Vice President of Program Development, stated:
"The Dolphin is currently in prototype development, with tooling
scheduled to begin in four to six weeks. We anticipate prototype
testing will begin early next year."
Foote concluded, "The Dolphin is far less costly and lighter
weight than the UCAV products currently under development by the
competition. And," he added, "The Dolphin will be flying within one
year. That beats our closest competitor to the market by two to
three years, according to their published schedules."
