I am trying to figure out what will be the cause of TDFX's obvious demise down to the $5-7 range within the next year. Looking at the other specialty chipmakers SIII TRID TSNG OAKT ESST IMPX, the usual culprit to all of their demise was a glut in inventory due to an obsolescence of product and an inventory write down with the exception to IMPX which was fraudulently hyped up on contracts with Iomega. TDFX had 15+ million in inventory yet do not manufacture their product. TSM Taiwan semiconductor is the contract manufacturer. Does anyone know how the relationship with TSM is going? And if you are interested can anyone make light of the second paragraph of page 9 of the most recent 10Q edgar-online.com. and what does that really mean?- a greedy dumb momentum investor in TDFX who should really have known better.
