Couple good posts by 2121 on the Fool. -tae

DLJ/Boucher came out this a.m. with a new report. He reits. his buy and believe the sell-off was
due to rumors. He talked with management. Book value is $7.12 per share. 98 est. is 1.98. 99 is
2.37. Expects June eps of .49. $40 target.

One thing I think Boucher doesn't quite get is the float issue. And MONT just dropped his offer
price to $17.75. He has got some more today it looks like.

MONT cut rating to HOLD. But this guy sucks. He doesn't like management, as I have said many
times before, because they cut him out of i-banking deals. Careful of the MONT machine, they are
a tough group of SOB's and when they want to make money on a short, they usually find a way to
do it. I'll try to get the report, but you can expect th usual stuff about declining sales, margins, lack
of OEM deals, competition, etc...

DLJ reiterated its BUY rating?

Haven't they been selling both yesterday and today along with MONT?

Just think though, if BA-RS DOES downgrade, then we'll probably get smacked again. Hard.

PX

P.S. I bet they're kicking themselves for letting MONT do this to them <g>.

I doubt BA Robertson Stevens cuts TDFX to hold. They issued a strong buy and a very favorable report when the stock was close to $30. Cutting to hold now without some good reasons would make them look pretty fickle.
