Austin: I must thank you for that concise brief and way side pointers in the DW/DB fields and Consultancy buisness.

The best engine of growth would be thru Consultants. They should set up a school for system certification and promote this heavily in countries such as India and S.E Asia.

Coke and the Tobacco Companies had the right idea. Catch them young.!
IFMX could do better if it can emulate them.

>>>This will also create significant ($$$) consulting opportunities. They need to grow this area and take advantage of this. If you didn't notice, Oracle is approaching 50% of revenues from consulting (over $1.1 billion last quarter). This is a small part of Informix's business today with huge upside.<<<

Speaking of which, I have a client that is keeping me pretty busy, which has been trying to hire a IFMX programmer for some time now, to work on basic new development of a technical client/server product. No luck since November. Naturally I would like to fill that for them if I could. There would be some mental challenge involved, enough to keep one awake but not overwhelming. Might be some fun, for the right person who likes data organization or possibly graphics processing puzzles.
