You can buy some MANU which is at the same price as ORCL.

bigredfreak, yes thats correct, orcl apps seem to be decreasing and thats the reason for the stagnation in the stock. I thought rel 11 was only available currently on the NC architecture - what about the future though? Im not sure. In any case, customers like the NC architecture more or less vs. the other architectural directions for Orcl apps (smart client, etc) - I dont think its a huge impediment to sales.

But what is a problem is the lack of functionality in the apps and that stupid NIH attitude Oracle has with the apps. Two good things orcl has done lately are 1)Marketing of superior data-layer architecture of orcl apps vs. Sap closed system, 2) Partner with I2 for supply chain solutions.
