Sbug; error in earnings announcement..

is this great time for confusion or what.......

they still are NOT making money....what was
ASP, what is going forward......

the only thing they got was debt financing and i still
doesn't change the outlook

That is my thought exactly. Maybe at some point in the future it'll be profitable. As for the near-mid term, seems to me TXN wanted out so badly, they basically gave it away. I would ask myself why? Because this biz is inherently unstable, and at best marginally profitible. TXN knew it would always be a drag on their books, so they were willing to take MU shares which might turn out OK, but also might turn out to be big losers. They assumed debt from a company with a below grade Moody's rating. I bet TXN is feeling pretty smug right now, and I bet their stock will rise above the nice move the market gave it today. We'll see.
