Now you see why some of us tried to keep you from shorting C$CO? Today they announce a charge, get sued, and yet they still make an all-time high. They are nearly untouchable.

Good evening Pancho. Seems like the euphoria of the last day and a half is waining in Asia. What does the U.S. want Japan to do to get out of this current situation? Their rates are 1/2%, they hold billions in US treasuries that they aren't allowed to sell without US retribution, they have a deficit that eats up 6% of GDP, they have a national debt that is 200% of GDP, they have hundreds of billions if not trillions in bad debt and lastly their in a depression.

If they inflate their economy and rates rise they will soon be paying 100% of their GDP to fund their deficit. The suspicious reaction of the U.S. the day after Rubin said no action to support the yen would be taken is indicative of the seriousness of this crisis. The day China devalues is the day we see the market sell off 1,000 points.
