Game short at the close 1106.37 no new points.

Lisa, I agree that a start over each month would be fun, or just run two columns one for a monthly total and one for a cumulative total. I think this is the better idea as results over time are more interesting than merely monthly results.

Later, catbabe,

Richard

Okay I'm a new contestant. I didn't realize that we don't actually have to make the exact same trades as we post to the game. So what the hey, this looks like fun. But I will be buying puts tomorrow morning, most likely at the 9:45am est time.

Yes I'm all for starting the game over on July 1. But at the same time, we could keep a running "total game points", but start the monthly score over each month, so as to give people the feeling that they are starting over on "equal" footing. But the consistent winners should be recognized somehow; hence the "total game points" could be posted at the beginnning of each month.

Does this sound good to you, your majesty spx queen lisa? We could also offer the current reigning "total game points" winner the honorary title of "spx queen/king", with the preferred optional but not mandatory salutation when addressing that person as "your majesty". ;-) What do you think of that idea? -gg-

The action today was pretty much as I figured, and now there's another day of premium gone down the tubes.
