This is the Great Big Kahuna Game started in this thread: Subject 12382 Here's the rules: * The Game is based on the S&P 500 cash index or SPX. * A new player can join The Game at any time by posting ... "GAME LONG (or SHORT) 1101.01 (the current SPX price)" this establishes your position. * Once a position is enter you get "unearned" points based on whether the index is moving with you or against you. * You may close out your position and "earn" your points by either going FLAT (neutral) or reversing your position. One (1) game point is awarded for every 10 points of SPX index move in your direction. * Negative positions may be closed or reversed for free (no points) BUT YOU ARE ALLOWED ONLY 1 NO POINT TRADE DURING THE TRADING DAY. (This is to prevent anyone from constantly going flat and reentering just to get the high or the low of the day) * Moves placed after the market close up until 3am EST are given the closing price. * Moves placed after 3am EST up to 9:45 am are given the 9:45am price. (This is to prevent you from running ahead of the futures and getting an unrealistic price) * Only 1 position per player, no averaging up or down. You can however go FLAT during the trading day and reenter your position AFTER the market closes at a better price. (example. You are LONG @ 1100 and during the day the market drifts to 1090. You could go FLAT BEFORE the market closes (no points) and then reenter your LONG position AFTER the market closes at the closing price. GOOD LUCK! | ||||||||||||
