You made a variety of very interesting comments in your post to me.

You conclude that I am short from my negative posts. Are you saying that all negative posters are short? Is it completely implausible that I am merely raising possible pitfalls for discussion? You've been around these boards for over a year. You've seen by now, or ought to realize, a lot of novice investors slaughtered again and again by getting caught up in bullish frenzy. I'm not saying my goal is to help those kinds of people -- you have to learn that lesson the hard way. My goal is to find other knowledgeable investors who have rational articulations for why they are long in spite of certain downside scenarios. Are you such?

You say I am cynical. Come on, show me an experienced investor who is not cynical.

Why will the shorts get vaporized tomorrow specifically? Do you know something we don't?

You mention there is nothing wrong with being short stocks in a lengthy post attacking me for being short. Shrug. I have some shorts in my port at the moment, and I wish I had more. Neither Lynch nor Buffett, whom I struggle to emulate, were ever significantly short anything however.

Maybe you're just feeling a little wired from losing money. Maybe my tone isn't the way I intend. If other people have a problem with a request for benediction then I'll stop. Shrug.

Good luck.
