Duncan, I think that you hit the nail on the head. How can anyone be a "good" Democrat without ignorance. The truth would simply get in the way of the Democratic Socialist ideology. Obviously, lazzarre has no use for the truth since it would spoil his cherished misconceptions about his beloved Clinton. Sex scandals, Campaign contribution discrepancies, selling military secrets to the Communist Chinese, criminal conduct or whatever. It doesn't matter to lazzarre. He can not let himself believe it is the truth. So, lazzarre prefers to deceive himself and believe the White House spin. It is just easier for him to remain ignorant than to think about questioning the validity of the allegations or the corruptness of Clinton. Also, I suspect that he thinks OJ Simpson is innocent.
